Network Marketing is about four things:a) Finding people to talk to - Prospecting.
b) Talking to the people you find - Presentation.

In our industry (mlm or network marketing) people we need to talk to are called leads. MLM Leads can be generated on your own through advertising invarious magazines, ezines, websites, local papers or even "belly to belly".
We love to purchase leads and use them in a multi-stream attack. However you need to be extremely careful who you purchase leads from. We only recommend 3 mlm lead brokers and there is a reason why.

Instead, we have always focused on talking to people who have shown an interest in our industry and business. People who show an interest in our industry are usually called: opportunity seeker leads or home business leads or network marketing leads or mlm leads. It all means the same thing.
Bottom line: we
have sponsored a lot of these people over the years.
Another set of
prospecting leads are called: mlm genealogy lists. These are leads of people
who are currently in the network marketing industry or they "used to be in
the industry". Bottom line: they understand what mlm or
network marketing is. We have sponsored a lot of these people as
well.
How a person goes about getting these types of leads is all individualized. Some people purchase these leads on a monthly basis. By referring other network marketers to these leads they can build up a great advertising budget. These leads are normally a little bit higher in cost, but you make that up by referring others. It is simple to refer others if you are actively building this business, because at some point in time you will run into a fellow network marketer who does not want to join your primary company but really likes the idea of a "self funding advertising campaign".

sell these leads as well. You can get them a few pennies cheaper and
sometimes a great deal cheaper. Be careful and only buy from a reputable
