What we are seeing today is a lot of teams that are going back to the fundamentals of network marketing and they are building relationships with prospects using the phone instead of email. As you know email marketing is a cold world that used to work well and still works well with a new company IF you get all the other mlm'ers to join right away.
Most teams are teaching a variation of our 3 step process, using the FRESH DAILY leads and following up. These principals are the CORE fundamentals of mlm and boy are they working. However, networkers are LAZY and if they can build a large income without having to pick up the phone or work very hard. And guess what is happening? Lazy equals failure!
YES, if your team teaches the core fundamentals of network marketing you will succeed. I AM NOT GOING TO DO IT and how many others will not try to build it that way?
Training should come from all angles but you should have training that is diverse and covers all aspects of network marketing. Today's savvy networker realizes this and they demand all of the above and more.
I ran into a group the other day that taught their members how to get 10 free leads from different companies. If a person was creative they could get about 100 to 200 leads every month by scamming the companies that offer 10-50 free leads. This group also taught their members how to place classified ad's all over the internet.
If a top mentor in any business teaches the above, look somewhere else to start a mlm home business. The above is a plan for failure not a plan for success.

How easy is it to get prospects to join (we call this step closing)
This is probably the most important question I know of. Without duplication your business can never prosper. Without duplication people leave fast. Without duplication you're dead. That is why the automated systems worked so well. They wouldn't necessarily teach duplication but they did provide a powerline that helped people receive some money by simply joining. And by purchasing leads and dumping them into a autoresponder duplication could occur without using the telephone. Today those systems work only if the member will pick up the phone and talk to the people.
Duplication is simply following in the footsteps of your leaders. Use the exact same system they use, say the exact same thing and guide a prospect to the exact same pages and audios that the team leaders are using. If that happens, it now becomes a numbers game with predictable results. PREDICTABLE RESULTS is key. If I talk to "x" amount of people I will have "X" amount of no answers, "X" amount of answering machines and "X"amount of people who will want to further investigate. By having "X" amount research our business I know that 1 out of 10 will join.
